🤰Pregnancy HUD🍼
The Pregnancy HUD is an optional add-on designed to enhance and expand your roleplay experience even further.
Getting Started:
Once you have the HUD unpacked and attached, you will notice a new little gender icon on your screen. Clicking it will open its main menu, where you can view your current status.
Note: Your gender is automatically determined by syncing with your main Fantasy Life system, so make sure you are wearing and running the main system before setting up your Pregnancy HUD!
The options available to you will depend on your character’s gender:
- Male: You will have the option to Pair with any user of the opposite gender within 10 meters. You also have the option to add a Life Partner, which allows you to pair automatically in the future without having to send a request.
- Female: You will have the exact same pairing options, but your menu will also display your menstrual cycle, pregnancy status, and current symptoms.
Mechanics & Pairing:
When two avatars are successfully paired, the male will gain access to a “Release” action in his menu. Using this action has a random chance of getting the female pregnant. If the female is currently in her fertile week, those chances are doubled!
Keep in mind that proximity matters, if you walk too far away from each other while paired, the pairing will automatically end.
Pregnancy Stages & Delivery:
If a female becomes pregnant, she won’t know about it right away. Symptoms do not show until a few days later (the exact timing is random, but happens early on). However, if you suspect you might be pregnant, you can take a Pregnancy Test (found at the Mainstore) after a full real-life day to confirm it before symptoms actually appear.
The entire pregnancy duration varies randomly between 2 to 3 real-life weeks and is divided into 4 distinct stages.
Medical RP Integration: There are medical items that can be operated by players with a high enough Medicine skill. For example, the Ultrasound machine can scan a pregnant patient to check the baby’s status, see how long the pregnancy has been going, and check the remaining time until delivery. While completely optional, utilizing doctors and clinics adds a lot to the immersion and RP!
Delivery: When the time for birth approaches, the HUD will notify you. It will also provide a countdown timer during the final 24 hours so you won’t miss the moment! You can choose to deliver on your own, or you can seek the professional help of a Fantasy Life user with a high enough Medicine level to assist with the delivery.
⚠️ Important Warning: It is crucial to know that if you neglect your basic needs during pregnancy, there is a high risk of losing the baby. Please take good care of your character if you are pregnant! Make sure you get enough rest, food, and hydration, and you should be perfectly fine.
