🍰Baking🍞
The Baking System operates similarly to Cooking, utilizing several shared stations and tools to prepare complex baked goods such as pies and cakes.
Required Equipment & Tools:
Before you begin baking, ensure you have the following stations and tools available:
- Cutting Board: Used to chop raw ingredients into specific components (e.g., slicing apples for pie fillings).
- Prep Board: Used to assemble ingredients by hand, such as crafting dough.
- Rolling Pin: Used to flatten and roll out prepared dough.
- Mixing Bowl: Used to blend liquids, batters, and fillings.
- Baking Mold: The container used to hold pie crusts, batters, and fillings prior to baking.
- Oven: The essential heat station used to bake prepared molds into finished cakes and pies.
Preparing a pie requires a sequential process to build both the crust and the filling:
Baking a Pie (Step-by-Step):
- Prepare the Dough: Use the Prep Board to craft your dough.
- Flatten the Dough: Use the Rolling Pin to roll and flatten the dough.
- Form the Crust: Place the flattened dough into your Baking Mold to create the base crust.
- Mix the Filling: Use the Mixing Bowl to combine your ingredients into a pie filling or pie mix.
- Assemble the Unbaked Pie: Transfer the filling into the Baking Mold over the prepared crust. This transforms the mold into an Unbaked Pie, which acts as the raw ingredient ready for baking.
- Bake in the Oven: Place the Baking Mold containing the unbaked pie inside your Oven. Click the Oven to access its menu, select the corresponding pie recipe, and begin baking.
- Complete the Bake: Wait for the timer to complete, after which you will receive your finished pie!
Baking a Cake:
Baking a cake follows the exact same mechanical process as baking a pie, with one key difference: cakes skip the dough and rolling steps. Simply prepare your batter in the Mixing Bowl, pour it directly into the Baking Mold, and place it into the Oven to bake.
