There are quite a few tools in the system, each with its own specific purpose and use. Here is a list of the available tools and what they do:

• Axe: Used for chopping down trees and splitting wood into smaller pieces.
• Knife: Used primarily for cutting cooking ingredients, but also required for certain crafting recipes.
• Cleaver: Used for butchering animals.
• Hammer: Used for Stoneworking, Metalworking, and various other crafts.
• Pickaxe: Used for mining Stone and Ore nodes.
• Shovel: Used for digging Dirt and Clay nodes.
• Saw: Used mostly for Carpentry recipes, but also required for some general crafting.
• Tongs: Used to safely manipulate hot items, such as handling ingots during Blacksmithing.
• Brush: Used to groom and increase the Happiness stat of your animals.

All tools can be clicked to access their menu and see remaining durability on them. Also all of these tools can be crafted. Most of them must be forged through Blacksmithing, but if you prefer to get them right away, you can also find them at the Mainstore.
